Born and raised in Brantford, Christo Fornella’s Italian heritage and upbringing, has influenced him greatly, having been born to parents both from Lazio, Italy. He first learned about winemaking with his father and his family made wine for most of his life.  After Graduating from McMaster University, Christo spent many years working in the corporate world honing his marketing and business development skills.  With a strong entrepreneurial spirit a natural next step would be to open a business of his own. In early 2016, he felt a change of pace was in order and made the transition into becoming a franchisee joining the Vin Bon Family.   With a passion for business and winemaking in a community that Christo knows very well, Vin Bon Brantford opened its doors in September 2016.

Fantastic! Made wine for our upcoming wedding with Chris. We bottled our wine today and it turned out perfect. He worked with me on designing our labels and was very patient (I'm a bit of a perfectionist!). Wine tastes and looks great! Will definitely be coming back.
