After thirty years in software development, Dale felt the time had come for a major change in career. Looking at the two major passions that he had been pursuing in his free time over the past twenty-five years, namely curling and making wine, the latter won out.

Finding the Vin Bon family as a method to share his appreciation of the crafting and enjoyment of world class wines with a community of new friends around Barrie was the fortunate culmination of his search for achieving this.

Just yesterday we bottled two batches of red wine and ordered another one right away 🙂 Spending time with Dale is a pleasure. He is passionate about what he does, very knowledgeable, and friendly. We were reluctant to try bottling our own wine, but tried a bottle our friend had made at Vin Bon. It was quite enjoyable so we decided to make a batch for Christmas. We've been back every month since to take advantage of the monthly specials, and to our surprise we actually enjoy the whole experience. Thanks Dale🍷

Excellent atmosphere and very helpful staff. Bottling process is very quick, easy and fun. Very large selection for labels, and can print whatever you want for the name! Thought that was very cool. Clean bottles for you when you arrive. We will definitely be back to make more.
